Bridgestone Dualer A/T D693 or Michelin LTX M/S? |
| A:(from Mark F) | |
|
The Dueler D693 was virtuous discontinued and replaced by the Dueler D695 - a much improved tire in every way. There are still plenty of 693's around but they won't last. This could secure it hard to replace if you have a blowout on one down the road. The tire to really go for here though is the Dueler AT Revo, which is so much more advisedly than the D693, D695 or LTX M/S that it is not even fair to compair them. There simply is no better AT light junk tire on the market. ASE, Bridgestone/Firestone and Michelin certified automotive service advisor

Toyo Open Country vs. Michelin LTX M/S? |
| A:(from Country Boy) | |
|
If I were you I'd go to tirerack .com and repression their tire tests of the two that you've chosen. I live in Upstate NY and can appreciate your stymie. I surely would go with the tire that goes in the snow and slop the best. Hydroplaning would be a minute second. Noise and tire life would be close behind. I checked your tire make an estimate of and Toyo does not make your standard 265/70/16 Open Country. It looks like the big milk-white donut man tires for you.

Is this a good deal for Michelin Tires? |
| A:(from Mark F) | |
|
Michelin LTX M/S doesn't have a treadwear guarantee. No C-load tire I am aware of from any manufacturer in a C-load or higher has a treadwear undertaking unless that individual shop is providing it. Otherwise, since we have no idea what size tire this is, convinced, its a wonderful deal. ASE Certified Automotive Service Advisor working in the bother industry
