installing tractor tires on truck rims? |
| A:(from Mr. T) | |

They would effort great in the mud, but they would have to be removed before operating on the payment. They are an implement tire & the tread would also perish without a trace rapidly. Speed rating is under 30 MPH. Have fun. . . »»» | |

Should I sell old truck with new rims/tires or put on new truck? |
| A:(from ffperki) | |
|
It is uncertain that they will fit. The ranger used to have a 4 lug rim and the toyota has a 5 lug rim, but even if they were both 5 lug rims I still doubt that they would fit from one to the other. We had a GEO Storm that had a 4 lug rim and we also had a Mazda that had a four lug rim one would not fit the other. What you can do it put the old rims and older tires back on it and then over persuaded the rims and tires separate from the truck. You might even get more for the old truck with the original wheels and rubber, as it is now the only person that would buy it with those rims on it is a kid an older person might buy the truck if it doesn't look like it was hot roded around

How to choose the right size truck tires for what i want to do? |
| A:(from gejandsons) | |
|
You will have to authentication for clearance in the fender well area when the tires are turned all the way right & left. Wider & larger tires may hit the bumper, the rejection, & the rear part of the front fender. Rims with a different offset will cause the same problems. Looking at other vehicles like yours will give you a reliable idea. Local 4WD shops have trucks to look at & owners that will be glad to talk about their truck & the modifications needed for restricted characteristic of tire & wheel combos
