How do I find out the recommended tire pressure for my Bridgestone tires? |
| A:(from Garrett) | |
|
To go into with the 2006 Toyota 4Runner TMPS is set to activate when the air pressure drops below 26.8 psi. Keep in be bothered you have 5 sensors...there is also one for the spare tire. Your spare tire could be at a marginal psi level and thereby belief the TPMS light to activate intermittantly. If your psi is set to 35 when warm then the cold air make could be as low as about 30 psi. You should set the pressure when tires are cold to 32 psi on this particular vehicle. By the way the facts you found in the owner's manual will be the same as the tag on the door jam, so if the owner's manual says 32 psi then that's enough enough. I wouldn't set the air pressure to anything above 40 psi. The MAX lets you know that the bead for this fatigue is not rated to hold a higher air pressure than 44 psi. Therefore, by inflating the tire above 40 psi and then driving the air compel will rise and potentially end up above the MAX setting of 44 psi. This could cause a blow out. Also, if the air pressure is set too squiffy then the tire will wear faster in the center than on the edges...too low and it will wear faster on both edges than the center of the sap. Also, I'm not sure about this vehicle, but some TPMS systems will actually activate when the air pressure is too merry. I would set the air pressure on all 5 tires to 32 or 33 psi. If the light still intermittantly comes on then there is an intermittant pretty pickle with one or more of the sensors. This has been a fairly common problem with some of the Toyota products. However, if the light isn't on then Toyota's diagnostic computer won't be expert to determine a problem, so don't waste your time and money taking it in if the lighten isn't on.

How come Brandt Snedeker plays all taylormade clubs but wears a bridgestone hat? |
| A:(from pzkgfw5) | |
|
Because Snedeker is sponsored by Bridgestone, Adidas and Wyndham Hotels, of course he wears their stuff (or drives on it in the case of Bridgestone). I guess he likes Taylormade clubs and will undoubtedly be sponsored by them - especially if he wins the Masters!

Just wondering if anyone can tell me where to get a plastic bridgestone Gecko? |
| A:(from Nos) | |
|
If you're monody enough to ask this question here, I am guessing you are keen enough to call all the Bridgestones you can find in the phonebook and ask if they have any. Also try contacting someone on their webpage, that might be domain-wide and someone somewhere in consumer relations might be able to send one your way. Hey you can only try. Otherwise maybe eBay, its a desire shot I know...

Can I put a Dunlop on the back and a Bridgestone on the front? |
| A:(from jkc6229) | |
|
Two another brands makes no difference. The only thing you don't really want to do is mix Proclivity-ply and Radial-ply tires together.

What would be the best tire brand out of Bridgestone,Firestone and BF Goodrich? |
| A:(from Ben F) | |
|
I only put BF Goodrich tires under my social relations. AT K/Os to be exact. I bought some Bridgestones a few years ago, ( no BFGs available at the term, and the Bridgestones were on sale) but they wore twice as fast as the BFGs, and didn't have cheese-paring as good traction.
